Mister Spooky Usage Tips & Tricks
--------------------------------------------------
Thanks for downloading Mister Spooky. I hope you
find some good uses for it. I've been sketching
and painting this font for about 5 years and
finally decided it was time to make it a font.
If you use Mister Spooky in a project, please
send it to me so I can post it on the Letterhead
Fonts website. This font is free and you are
encouraged to give it to friends and colleagues.
Here are some things I've noticed while using
Mister Spooky. I thought I'd pass them along to
you:

1) Kern, kern, kern. The nature of Mister Spooky
with it's uneven letters requires a good eye for
spacing. You should kern Mister Spooky tight for
best results.

2) Mister Spooky looks good stretched and condensed.
I created the regular version first, but then noticed
how well it looked when it was squashed, so I've
included a condensed version also. Not really a big
deal, all I did was squeeze it, but it might remind
you that it can be used that way too.

3) Mister Spooky is perfect for Halloween themes and
other scary stuff. Seems to be scarier when all caps
are used.

4) Miter your outlines. With all the sharp serifs, you
are going to get some mighty long "shooters" when you
outline Mister Spooky. That can look pretty ugly, so
it's best to chop those things or round them off.

5) Mister Spooky's favorite colors are Olive Green
and Red on black backgrounds.

Follow these helpful tips, or don't. Make up
your own rules. Explore, experiment and have fun!
